We started GraymatterLab after leading digital transformation from the inside — as operators and builders who owned the outcomes, not consultants who handed off a deck and left. We've watched the same pattern repeat across every major technology wave: smart, motivated teams who believe in the potential, then get stuck because the tools don't fit the workflow or the organization isn't ready to support the change.

AI is no different. Promising tools stall in pilot mode. Teams get excited, then exhausted. Real impact — at the bedside or in the revenue cycle — never quite materializes.

The root cause is consistent: workflow misalignment, weak change management, and no structured deployment model. These barriers have constrained every major healthcare technology transition. AI won't escape them without a better approach.
